Statement

My poetry and art cross over between the conscious and sub-conscious realms of existence. Nature and collective forces of humankind are my stimulation. I continually experiment to achieve creative breakthrough
in style, substance and techniques.

Biography and Credits
(1946 -) resides in the Los Angeles suburbs. Henry is a published author of poetry, travel, business articles, cookbooks and short stories. Nature is her inspiration and she paints plein air in the surrounding coastal,
mountains, and desert areas. She is a member of Paradigm Poets, Charter Member of California Writer’s Club-SFV, Malibu Art Association, and Allied Artists of Santa Monica Mountains. She hosts poetry readings
and her art is on display in exhibits and juried shows throughout the Los Angeles area. As a Board Member of the Santa Susana Mountain Park Association, she works to preserve and protect open land and habitat.

Mediums: Acrylic, oil, watercolor, and collage. Her art is on display at various nature centers, juried exhibits, and
corporations. She has received juried show awards, sold paintings on exhibit and to private individuals. Currently
working on a new body of work “Illusionary Realism.”
