Chris (Christine) Beauvais

Poet of Free Verse with ventures into other forms such as American Haiku and Villanelle. Subjects include nature, personal relationships, war protest and censorship.

Published in Sparrowgrass and Poetry.Com anthologies. Participated in local readings throughout Southern California, including being a selected reader for several years at the Annual Midsummer Poetry Fest, at the Brentwood Library in Los Angeles. Founding member and facilitator of a monthly poetry workshop at a local Barnes and Noble Booksellers.

Interests encompass subjects as varied as ancient civilizations and history to science fiction and fantasy. Other hobbies: making porcelain dolls and ceramics, for which I have received several First and Second Place Ribbons. My newest is archery and I am now a Level two Instructor.
