Gail Gauldin Moore Biography
I began writing again in my fifties following an image of a strange animal emerging from a cave shaking off wool. I guess I was a poet all of my life but stopped writing around the age of ten and began again in my mid-fifties. I have been featured, published, and won several awards. One award for best poet of 2001 from Pacificus Foundation and a Dorothy Daniels poet’s award. My book, titled “Poems on the Half-Shell” can be found at Duttons Books in Brentwood, Village Books in Brentwood and Beyond Baroque in Venice. Many copies have actually sold. |

My book is a box of prayers - it holds my secret name. This book climbs no mountain and keeps no promise. |
